Connection for Foster Families
Meeting other foster families who are on the same journey is a key component of fostering successfully long-term. Here are three ways for foster families to get connected!
- Join our closed Facebook group for foster families. Here we disseminate information relevant to foster families and post about our upcoming trainings and events. - Attend one of our three annual social events: Summer BBQ in June, Pool Party in August and Christmas Party in December. Information posted at our Contra Costa Foster Friends Resource Center and in the Facebook group.
- Attend our monthly support group, the 2nd Monday of each month from 6:00-7:30 pm at Lafayette United Methodist Church: 955 Moraga Road, Lafayette. Dinner and loving childcare provided. Email ccfosterfriends@gmail.com to rsvp.
